Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a flagship giga-project in Riyadh. The role involves overseeing design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems in a large-scale mixed-use development encompassing entertainment, leisure, infrastructure, and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate brings strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and experience in delivering complex mechanical systems in multidisciplinary environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the design review and implementation of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and client requirements.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to mechanical engineering standards and best practices.

• Participate in value engineering reviews and propose cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or performance.

• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and progress updates for senior management.

• Review and approve mechanical drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

• Ensure that all mechanical works are executed in alignment with local regulatory standards and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).

• Support procurement processes by evaluating technical submissions and vendor qualifications.

• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, and electrical teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 8-10 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering within large-scale infrastructure or mixed-use development projects.

• Strong background in HVAC, firefighting systems, plumbing, and BMS.

• Previous experience in high-profile or giga-projects in the Middle East is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with international and Saudi building codes and standards.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and ensure timely project delivery.
