We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at a leading fashion retailer in Omni Shopping Centre, Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand known for its high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Role Overview:
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager to achieve the store’s goals. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, driving sales, and leading the team to deliver a superior shopping experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Store Manager in maximising sales and profitability of the store.
- Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring the team follows suit.
- Assist in managing staff performance, including conducting appraisals and supporting staff development.
- Ensure store merchandising meets brand standards and is visually appealing.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Handle cash, stock control, and inventory management in line with company procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout the store.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive, inclusive store culture.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail management or supervisory role, ideally in fashion.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse sales data and use insights to drive performance.
