About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our clients team in Limerick. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and fostering staff development. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in all aspects of store management, including driving sales and profitability, and meeting store targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining high standards of customer care, ensuring all customers have a positive shopping experience.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor, setting high standards for the team in customer service, sales, and operational procedures.
  • Train, develop, and motivate staff to achieve sales targets, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain store standards.
  • Ensure effective stock management, including ordering, stock-taking, and ensuring the sales floor is fully stocked and visually appealing.
  • Manage daily store operations such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing reports to the Store Manager and suggesting actions for improvement.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff, complying with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance product displays and maximise store layout effectiveness.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail environment is essential. Ideal for senior sales professionals or supervisors looking to take the next step in their careers.
