Store Manager
Location: Kildare
Reports to: Area Manager
Role Overview:
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the store, ensuring it operates efficiently and delivers excellent customer service. You will lead a team of 6-8 staff in this busy, fast-paced store, driving sales targets, managing inventory, and maintaining the store’s visual and operational standards. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for retail.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:

Lead, motivate, and inspire the store team to achieve and exceed sales and service goals.

Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and discuss store performance.

Recruit, train, and develop team members to their fullest potential.

Create a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
Sales & Customer Service:

Drive sales by creating a culture of exceptional customer service.

Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Handle escalated customer concerns effectively and professionally.

Promote up selling and cross-selling strategies to maximise sales.
Operational Excellence:

Manage daily store operations, including opening, closing, and cash handling procedures.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Maintain stock levels by coordinating with the purchasing team and ensuring timely deliveries.

Oversee inventory management, minimising shrinkage and optimising stock levels.
Visual Merchandising:

Ensure the store is visually appealing and meets company merchandising standards.

Plan and execute promotional and seasonal displays in line with brand guidelines.

Monitor and adjust layouts to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and submit regular performance reports to the Area Manager.

Monitor KPIs such as sales, footfall, conversion rates, and average transaction values.

Implement strategies based on performance insights to improve store efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
-
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in Fashion or Footwear .

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving store performance.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
-
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Desirable:

Experience with inventory management systems.

Familiarity with visual merchandising principles.
