Are you ready to make a difference and lead a dynamic team? Our client a leading beauty brand are seeking a store manager who is passionate, driven, and eager to contribute their unique skills to their busy city centre store.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Store Operations: Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the store including shop floor, stockrooms and events.
- Team Leadership: Inspire, manage, and empower your team by leading by example, and providing effective training and development.
- Sales Motivation: Coach and motivate your team to drive sales, consistently exceed store sales targets, and meet monthly and quarterly KPIs.
- Customer Experience: Be present on the shop floor, offering exceptional customer service and after-sales support.
- Positive Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional working environment, recognising team achievements.
- Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the brand’s culture internally and externally, and empowering your team to do the same.
- Expertise in Beauty: Offer expert knowledge in makeup and beauty techniques, assisting customers with shade matching and product queries.
- Event Assistance: Support in-store events and masterclasses as needed.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilise POS software and other digital systems to support in-store sales.
- Standards Maintenance: Uphold organisation, grooming, and appearance standards.
- Back of House Operations: Manage and support stock control, inventories, and reporting.
- Store Management: Oversee store opening and closing procedures, maintaining pristine store standards.
- Visual Merchandising: Implement VM guidelines and train the team on all VM standards.
- Relationship Building: Develop positive relationships with the store team, Area Manager, and Head Office.
- Brand Enthusiasm: Be a Brand Ambassador, demonstrating on-brand grooming and a passion for the brand, and mastering storytelling.
Experience Required:
- Retail Management: Essential experience in retail management within a high-traffic store, driving team targets and KPIs related to overall store revenue.
- Team Rostering: Proven ability in creating and managing team rosters and shift assignments.
- Beauty Background: Makeup/Beauty experience or a certified makeup qualification is desirable.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Effective Communication: Strong communication skills with store visitors and customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English.
