My Client are currently looking to recruit a Store Manager to take the reins of their Limerick store. Are you looking to progress your retail management career or are you an experienced retail manager looking for a new challenge? If so we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the lead motivator for the team and strive to achieve all targets and KPI’s.
  • Proactively assess the local market potential and collaborate with Upper Management on merchandising and sales strategies.
  • Maintain a strong level of communication in store and ensure all team members are aligned with the stores visions.
  • Maintain and set and example of excellent customer service and capitalise on up-selling opportunities.
  • Be a driving force in training your team and adapting to the unique learning styles of each team member to achieve the best results.
  • Be at the forefront of operational efficiency’s, track sales trends and monitor KPI performance to better plan for the future.
  • Create a dynamic sales and performance culture for all employees, conduct frequent performance reviews and provide clear instructions and encouragement.
  • Ensure the store is compliant with H&S policies and procedures.
  • Optimise staffing budgets ensuring the store is commercially efficient.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and oversee grievance and disciplinary matters as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2/3 years previous retail management experience in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to juggle tasks, manage time effectively, and set priorities for the week.
  • Previous experience with interviewing, hiring, on-boarding and employee evaluations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to building good relationships with the customers and your team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office packages.
